The Stabila TECH 700 DA Digital Electronic Angle Finder gives accurate angle measurements in a wide range of construction applications. This angle gauge is especially suitable for joinery applications like measurement and transfer of angles when installing a kitchen or when aligning other built-in furniture. The Tech 700 can also help transfer angles when cutting the tiles, marking out angles in preparation for miter cuts, and metal construction projects.
Features: The TECH 700 DA packs a bunch of useful and practical features that help with quite a number of applications. The gauge can quickly and accurately determine and transfer interior and exterior angles in the range of 0° – 270°. The precision of this device is very high, with an accuracy of ± 0.1° and it features an IP 54 class protection against duct and water which makes it ideal for even harsh construction environments. The digital display is assisted with an LED backlight for easy reading in the dark and has clear large digits. Besides the digital display, the gauge also has a level and a plumb vial for horizontal or vertical leveling. Tech 700 comes with a rugged nylon carrying case for better portability and storage. The electronic module is powered by 2 readily available AA batteries, making it easy to maintain.
Functions: The Tech 700 has several useful functions built into it, that can be controlled with a set of tactile buttons at the bottom of the display. The display's backlight can be dimmed and switched on or off according to need. The axis can be locked at any particular angle to easily transfer readings with the help of a knob. The electronic module has a REF function, that allows a reference angle to be accepted, saved, and then transferred to other components, and a HOLD function that saves the measured value. To assist with applications like making miter cuts, angle bisectors can also be displayed with the touch of a button. To conserve power, the device is automatically switched off after 60 minutes if left idle and unused.
