Nedo Heavy-Duty Elevating Aluminum Survey Tripod

I'm in the Laser grading business. My tripods get a lot of set up and take downs. This tripod appears to be a high quality product. Legs adjust easily and elevation mechanism works very well although the handle is a little short. Maybe there is less chance of damage while in the back of truck with a short handle. I use it where the base around six feet high and it's stable. The best thing about it and the reason it qualified is that it did not come from China. ( I could go on a rant but I will leave it at that). With a little care this should last 10 years plus. Well worth the price. Larry R.

A very good piece of German engineering. Very Solid. It actually was bigger than I was anticipating it to be but it works great! Allows for good height when fully extended

Best tripod we have purchased in 35 years of total station & 3-D scanner use. We travel by air almost every week for forensic work, heavy use in all environments. Lightweight and fits in a full-size golf bag. We often use with FARO 3-D scanner at top height with remote and find it very stable. I would recommend carrying the necessary Allen wrenches as we have had some parts loosen in transit.

We use with FARO 330 3-D scanner. We travel by commercial air average of once a week. It fits well in Club Golf large golf bag. Just purchased a second for other FARO 330. Wide elevation range up to 10 feet AGL. More stable and a fraction of the price of carbon fiber tripods. Great price - excellent value.
