Designed specifically for Leica instruments, the Leica DST 360 Adapter easily converts the Disto X3, Disto X4, and BLK3D Imager from a handheld tool into a sturdy measurement station. This bracket provides precise P2P measurements or distance measurements between any two points from a single position. It exchanges measurement data with the device to allow horizontal and vertical angle measurements.

The Leica DST 360 Adapter is made entirely of metal, making it robust and perfect for outdoor use. Some of its features and capabilities include a measure plan, measure facade, leveled measurement, and smart area measurement.

    The ladder can stay in the car

    Very cool addition to my measuring tool bag. I'm an architect and frequently have to measure existing buildings where the project involves additions or remodeling. Often that means getting a ladder to reach some obscure point that I will need for the drawings. Having the ability to measure those same distances while standing in one point on the ground will mean that the ladder can stay in the car, saving me time and keeping me safer. This will also be easier to measure some weird situations where the direct measurement website is blocked by some architectural feature. I have two projects like that coming up this week we're the alternative method would be to run strings lines to take offset dimensions. The point-to-point capability will eliminate the need for that extra work.

    I would buy this product because that is necessary

    It is Leica quality, and surely Leica price. Just a tripod and a very sturdy head on top, supporting my Leica BLK 3D, with four electrodes that make the BLK 3D carry a special function like a surveying device. Far too expensive for what it does but it does what it does well. In the end, it only takes a few projects and it pays off for the convenience it offers and the time you save. Far too expensive but since it pays off, that's all that matters.
