The Bosch 2.3 HP Electronic Plunge-Base Router is designed for controlled plunge routing, template work, dovetail fixtures, jigs, guided cuts, and detailed woodworking applications. Its 15 amp motor delivers 2.3 HP with a variable-speed range of 10,000 to 25,000 RPM, allowing users to match speed to the bit, material, and task.

The trigger-control system places the power switch in the plunge-base handle for better control during operation. Afterlock microfine bit-depth adjustment allows precise changes at any plunge setting, while the 3" plunge depth supports a wide range of routing tasks. Constant Response circuitry helps maintain speed under load, and soft-start technology helps reduce startup torque. The router also includes precision-centering design, always-on LED lighting near the bit area, contoured soft-grip handles, a cord swivel for added mobility, and compatibility with optional Bosch template guide adapter sets.
