This SECO safety vest was developed in conjunction with surveyors from the California DOT and meets ANSI/ISEA Class 2 requirements. This Class 2 reflective vest features bright fluorescent material with 4” (10.16 cm) wide contrasting reflective material around 2” (5.08 cm) wide silver stripes made of 3M Scotchlite reflective tape.
This surveyor's utility safety vest is made of the best materials, including durable polyester, brass grommets, heavy-duty webbing and trim, and a genuine YKK zipper. A high tech collar liner made of special phase-change material (Adaptive Comfort by Outlast) is designed to balance body temperature. This Certified Space Technology stores heat when it's too hot and releases it when it's too cold. This regulation of the body temperature helps prevent the chill that exercising outdoors in cold weather can bring on.
You have plenty of pockets in this hi-vis safety vest. There are 4 large pockets on the outside and 2 generous pockets on the inside — great for field books, tapes, pencils, flagging, cell phones, and so on. There are also 2 spray can holders on the sides and 2 mic tabs to hold your radio microphone.
To determine your SECO vest size, measure around the widest part of your chest over the clothing you will be wearing. Of course, heavy winter clothes can add considerably to your measurement. A good general rule of thumb is to add a 3" allowance to your base chest measurement.
