It also has innovations like Hazard Zone, which gives additional signals to warn you if there are dangerous objects nearby, and Pinpoint Assist, which holds the highest reading, on a user-customizable time of 0 to 5 seconds, for precise detection of the service duct.

The i550 Series Cable Locator features a Surface Depth Indicator, showing the operator the estimated depth of the buried utility, up to 10 feet (3 meters) deep. With this information, you know how deep you could excavate before reaching the underground cable.

Rugged build for tough environments Built to be used in tough working conditions, the EZiCAT i550 Series locators conform to IP54 standard for dust- and water-resistance and can last up to 40 hours of intermittent use. Despite the tough build, these locators only weigh 2.7 kg including batteries, preventing fatigue over long hours of use.
