    Several design flaws.

    Several design flaws: The level vial is installed upside down. It has to be reversed in order for the level bubble to stay closer to the center of the sight window. There is a lot of glare in the level sight window due to the shiny aluminum vernier. It should be painted flat black instead. There is excessive ambient light inside the sight tube because it is unpainted aluminum. It should be painted flat black inside to maximize visibility of the object being viewed. When using angles, the vial is not level even though it appears to be level in the sight tube. This might be caused by the level vial being installed upside down. May have to determine what the difference is and compensate accordingly.

    Its a piece of junk it has air in the level and the bubble will not stay put

    I love this product!

    Recently, I purchased this item and I could say it is very useful. I am using this product while I survey lands that is for sale or for proprietorship and it has produced accurate results. For a surveying tool, it is pretty handy and lightweight so I can just bring it along with me most of the time. I would definitely recommend this product.
