The Leica Disto E7100i Laser Distance Meter is the most compact and easy to user laser measuring device with the ability to sync with Bluetooth 4.0-enabled tablet and smartphones. It features one-touch measurements, 1/16-inch accuracy, and 200 foot range which make it an ideal construction pocket tool. Measurement values or results are shown on the easy to read 2-line backlit display and can be saved into the device.

The E7100i construction laser allows quick measure distances, continuous distances and area in feet, inches or meters. When saving a measurement, an audible alert will sound to indicate that the value has been recorded. This Leica laser device is made of plastic and is IP54 rated which means it is dust and water resistant. It includes a removable pocket clip and is powered by AAA batteries that allows it to take up to 5,000 measurements.

    Grate product. Best I've used so far. I'm a architectural designer and this tool is really useful to survey existing structures. Relatively small, light weight, great interface and easy to use. Clip is very useful for me. Wifi feature to connect with layout app.

    Perfect for quick and accurate measurements

    I use the laser distance measure to help me move quickly through my remodel tasks. It appears to be very accurate which requires you to make certain you are aiming it correctly to get the right results. It is easy when measuring against flat walls but not so easy during the framing process as it requires you to aim the laser against the a 2x4 stud face on the other side of the room.

    Tough Button

    I bought this about a month ago and use it to measure buildings to upload to my Chief Architect software. While measuring it is often difficult to get the button to press identifying the measurement. I have to put down my tablet and use both hands to steady the instrument and then get my dimension. Maybe the location of the button would be better on the side of the unit.
