The Indian Smokechaser Collapsible 5-Gallon Backpack Firefighting Pump has a heavy-duty vinyl bag that rolls up for easy storage, outfitted with a reliable hand-operated Fedco pump. The bag is both durable and comfortable so you can use it for the most demanding tasks without wearing you out. 

Comfortable and durable vinyl bag. The lightweight design makes the vinyl backpack easy to carry for hours, ideal for fighting forest, grass brush, and rubbish fires. Vinyl is highly resistant to acid, corrosion, weather, puncture, and abrasion, ensuring long years of service despite rough use on the field. The premium padded shoulder straps have a chest cinch strap that distributes the weight efficiently and keeps the bag in the proper position. The straps also have a clip-on strap to secure the pump in place hands-free. A large 4” tank opening allows for easy filling, with a watertight gasket that prevents leakage. 

Reliable Fedco pump. The Smokechaser uses a Fedco pump known for its reliability and quality. You can choose between a standard pistol pump or a pistol grip pump. Both are made from two seamless brass cylinders with guide bushing on the inner cylinder for ensuring bind-free operation at all times. Both also come with a dual nozzle that lets you quickly switch between a stream and fan pattern without using any special tools. The pump primes in just two pumps so you can get to work in no time. The Smokechaser also has a ¼” I.D. hose that makes the pump easy to move around. 

USFS approved. The Smokechaser has a USFS-approved version that is highly durable and fire-resistant. It has separate grommets for the carry handle and backpack straps and a standard piston pump with a rubber overgrip on the elbow end. 

Other features include a filter screen at the outlet to prevent clogging and a ventilated cap with a watertight gasket.
