The Stabila 196-2K Mason’s Level with Shield is specifically designed for aligning, setting, and installing bricks, blocks, and stones. It features two patented striking shields that can withstand repeated hits of a trowel for adjusting out-of-line bricks. It has tough, reinforced aluminum rectangular frame and precision-milled measuring surface that offers an accuracy of ±1/32 inch at 72 inches.

This mason’s level by Stabila is equipped with one horizontal and two plumb vials that are strategically positioned for easy reading. With these epoxy-locked acrylic glass vials, it guarantees long-term reliability that requires no re-calibration. It comes with optional rubberized hand holes (36-inch and 48-inch models only) that allow easy handling and comfortable grip. With a metal hang hole, it is convenient to store off of the floor.

The Stabila 196-2K Mason’s Level with Shield includes shock-absorbing rubber end caps that protect its frame against impact from falling or dropping. These removable end caps also provide excellent grip on walls and prevent scratching delicate surfaces. With its electrostatic enamel finish, this level is durable and easy to clean. It is available in four different sizes—16 inches, 24 inches, 36 inches, and 48 inches—to accommodate most construction applications.
