DD100 Utility Cable Locator

Reliable and precise, the Leica DD100 Series Utility Cable Locator with depth indicator is the best solution for accurately detecting live electrical cables and copper pipes underground. It is ideal for excavation and repair contractors, builders, gas and electric companies, cable tv companies, utility installation, and more. This service locator is able to detect underground installations up to ten feet deep.

For precise detection, the DD100 Series offers up to four operating frequency modes that can track and locate power or radio signals depending on the selected mode. It features an Automatic Pinpointing that provides optimum sensitivity when detecting underground utilities. For additional safety, the DD100 comes with a Hazard Zone function that gives an extra warning to close proximity of buried services and alerts the contractor to any immediate danger.

With an IP54 rating, the Leica utility locator is dustproof and water resistant. It uses six AA alkaline batteries that power the device for up to 15 hours with intermittent use. Also, this underground utility detector features a highly visible LCD display with a built-in light sensor that is an important feature in dark conditions.
