Acid Suit Detachable Hood

This hood is designed to provide maximum protection to the head and neck area. Not only is it durable and comfortable, it is flame*, chemical, and mildew resistant.

Protection

This signature combination of PVC on polyester, along with a heavy exterior coating provides protection from chemicals, acids, oils, alcohols, salts, and alkalies. Additionally, the combination acts as a flame retardant. In less than 2 minutes (after removal of the ignition source) a fire will suffocate and extinguish on its own. As an added bonus, it also acts as a resistance to mildew.

Design

This hood comes in one size, large. This way it’ll fit the majority of people comfortably.

The closure is a standard tie, allowing for it to be worn by people in a wider range of sizes. It also has the coordinating snaps to fit correctly with the coordinating jacket. In addition to its exterior coating, there is a light interior coating that protects fabric from contaminants and keeps your clothes clean. Its distinct green color makes it super easy for identification.
