DS2000 4-Wheel Utility Detection Radar

The Leica DS2000 4-Wheel Utility Detection Radar is one of Leica's Top-Class Utility Detectors that is used for sensing, localizing, and measuring the depth of underground utilities such as cables, fiber optics, and non-conductive pipes. It is the perfect tool for site construction, excavation, and utility mapping.

It sports a foldable system that allows surveyors to transport and store the detection radar with the utmost ease. Equipped with an IP65 Rating, the DS2000 is dust-proof and water-resistant. The 4-Wheel Radar ensures a safer, faster, and more efficient workflow that lowers asset management costs while also increasing the collected information.

State-of-the-Art Detection. Featuring a dual-frequency (250 & 700 MHz) perpendicular antenna, the DS2000 4-Wheel Utility Detection Radar can easily detect targets as deep as 6.5 to 16 feet with an acquisition speed of more than 10 kilometers per hour, depending on soil conditions. It comes with two hardware channels that can scan channels up to 381 scans per second with an interval of 42 scans per meter. Plus, it has two integrated encoders, GPS and/or TPS, that measures the distance traveled from the starting point of a scan.
