Walktax Distance Meter

The Haglof Walktax Distance Measurer is designed to deliver accurate readings for a long time. It comes with a measuring accuracy of approximately 0.5% in either metric or feet (depending on the model) and the increased distance is shown foot-by-foot, or decimeter-by-decimeter. The tool uses an 80g/2.8 oz (approx. 2700m/yds) spool of thread that’s made from 100% cotton.

The exterior of the Haglof Walktax Thread Distance measurer contains the thread-cutter and zero-set button. It is made from polycarbonate plastic that’s drop- and shock-resistant with a see-through window for result reading. A belt clip makes for easy carrying and professionals can have a choice for a special attachment.

The Walktax is easy to use – professionals can even change thread with gloves on! The thread is so strong that it withstands the strain of use, but still decomposes easily in approximately one to three seasons. With its practical design, robust exterior and precision results, it has become a favorite among professionals in the areas of forestry, construction, survey and gardening.
